Dear friends!

Unfortunately, our main focus for the final update of the year—the UI/UX for the quest system—didn't make it into this patch. Therefore, this update will primarily include changes and bug fixes to existing game mechanics. Additionally, we've enriched the character creator with some long-awaited new hairstyles.

We congratulate you on the upcoming New Year! May this year bring you many brilliant victories and joyful discoveries, both in the game and beyond.

We wish you a fun holiday season and excellent spirits!

New Year's Gifts — Additional Information

  • In honor of the winter holidays, the event version of Fazira will be running non-stop! It will open on December 30th at 13:00 PM GMT and conclude on January 12th at 5:00 AM GMT.
  • We want to apologize for not activating Fazira this at the time of Christmas holiday due to technical restrictions beyond our control. As compensation, all NA and EU players will receive additional rewards: 5 “Grand Learning” powders;
  • Also, as a festive gift, all players will receive 5 “Major Learning” powders via in-game mail.

Technical:

  • Added additional checks for connection loss/poor connection during the game login process, which previously could cause a character to get “stuck;”
  • Added an additional check for swimming below the terrain (now returns the character to the surface);

Balance

  • All buff powders now have the same duration. However, those that previously had a shorter duration are created in smaller quantities when brewed in a cauldron;
  • Minor adjustments to the bonuses/maluses of enchantments;
  • Decreased the penalties of castle runes: 85% for castle territories and 70% beyond them.

AI

  • The number of recipes dropped by wandering bosses has been reduced, proportionate to their difficulty relative to regular bosses (including the removal of the concept of “guaranteed loot”). They also no longer drop rune fragments;
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect HP regeneration in some cases when an AI resets its target and returns to its spawn point.

NPC | Trade | Quests

  • Guard bounty quests now also count kills made by group members;
  • Increased the prices for T2 and T3 monster trophies;
  • Major overhaul for Trophy Collector quests:
    • They will now always offer a minimum of 20% extra compared to selling the trophies directly to a vendor;
    • There is an additional bonus for turning in "bulk" quantities at large settlements;
    • A chance exists for a random, significantly higher profit on some turn-ins;
  • Fixed an exploit related to selling items to Innkeeper NPCs;
  • Added dedicated merchants for scrolls (“Tabula Rasa”, Vocation Reset) with their own separate Dynamic Vendor Balance (DVB);
  • Increased the price of teleportation tokens to T2 and T3 Counties;

Tutorial

  • An NPC has been added to Harbur who gives a quest that teaches how to use the “Tabula Rasa” scroll. The tutorial “Tabula Rasa” scroll now grants 200 attribute redistribution points.

Other:

  • Added a separate category for selling Parcels on the Market;
  • Fixed text descriptions and names for objects inside player housing;
  • Fixed a visual artifact that appeared on the Stickman’s model upon death when using low graphics settings;
  • Added new hairstyles for characters:
    • Because of this, all players will receive appearance change tokens via in-game mail.

Best regards,

Atlant Games Team
