    1. NEW. Buff system

    In Reign of guilds buff system plays key role. Each character has 7 general slots for buffs and debuffs. When character is under debuff, negative effect puts in separate slot. When all slots are filled, character can’t get any additional effects including debuffs. When negative effect ends, one slot becomes unoccupied. Therefore new debuff can be applied for free slot.

    So, in order to successfully control enemy, you will need to remove his buffs first in order to apply debuffs.

    1. Take powder in hand (you can put the powder on hotbar then choose it);
    2. Press ALT+LMB

    In order to use powders, abilities on other characters, you don’t need to press ALT button.


    In accordance with this system we’ve added:

    1.1. Water magic:
    1.1.1. HP recovery powder. Cast on self/on target. Restores 175 hit points. Costs 50 MP. Distance: 8m. RL: 2sec.
    1.1.2. MP recovery powder. Cast on self/on target. Restores 250 mana points. Costs 25 HP. Distance: 8m. RL: 3sec.
    1.1.3. Small cleanse powder. Cast on self/on target. Dispel one buff/debuff. Costs 25 MP. Distance: 6m. RL: 1.5sec.

    1.2. Earth magic:
    1.2.1. Health powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and gives +250HP. Costs 150 MP. Distance: 4m. Duration: 10min. RL: 2sec.
    1.2.2. Physical defence powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and gives +50 to physical defence. Costs 150 MP. Distance: 4m. Duration: 10min. RL: 2sec.
    1.2.3.Magic defence powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and gives +50 to magical defence. Costs 150 MP. Distance: 4m. Duration: 10min. RL: 2sec.
    1.2.4. “Wall” powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and gives +30 to magical defence and +30 to physical defence. Costs 150 MP. Distance: 4m. Duration: 10min. RL: 2sec.

    1.3. Fire magic:
    1.3.1. Magical attack powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and gives +40 to magical attack. Costs 150 MP. Distance: 4m. Duration: 10min. RL: 2sec.

    1.4. Air magic:
    1.4.1. Physical attack powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and gives +40 to physical attack. Costs 150 MP. Distance: 4m. Duration: 10min. RL: 2sec.
    1.4.2. Slowdown powder. Cast on self/on target. Takes one buff slot and doesn’t allow target to run (only walk). Costs 50 MP. Distance: 10m. Duration: 30sec. RL: 3sec.


    2. NEW Vocation system

    Early version of vacations and magic was built on rules and calculations and was…”dry”.

    When we moved to creation of technical items (like Tabula Rasa for stats reset) programmers tied to make the system more agile to get new variables after adding new content to the game in future.

    Newly created system allows us to create new content and balance current without additional headache, and we’ve decided to implement it to the magic system (mantras/powders/vacation abilities).

    This turned to be very versatile platform that allows to implement gamedesign ideas and new elements of magic faster and easier.


    For demoтstration of the system, we’ve implemented some vacation abilities

    2.1.Crusader:
    2.1.1. Divine Path - Teleports crusader into any point within 25m radius and puts “Slowdown” on nearby enemies upon landing (within 5m radius). RL: 1.5sec. Cooldown: 30sec.

    2.2. Assassin;
    2.2.1. Slit Throat - Takes on buff slot and increases critical strike chance as if each next hit was done to the head for 30 sec. RL: 1s. Cooldown: 5min.

    2.3. Hunter:
    2.3.1. Shar Eye - Takes 1 buff slot and increases physical attack to 200 for 30 sec. RL: 2s. Cooldown 10min.
    2.3.2. On Foot - takes one buff slot and gives +200 energy for 1 minute. RL: 2s. Cooldown: 5min.

    2.4. Inquisitor;
    2.4.1. Armlet of Obedience - puts debuff on target and disarms enemy for 30 seconds. RL: 2sec. Cooldown: 7min.

    2.5.All vacations:
    2.5.1. Empty buff. Applies on self/on target and takes 1 buff slot for 1 min (was added in order to vary the game on prototype stage. Won’t be included into final version). RL: 1s. Cooldown: 1s. Distance: 6m;
    2.5.2. Skill window was added. You can open it by pressing “K” button;


    3. NEW 2D/3D/VFX/SFX

    3.1 New Crusader set added;
    3.2 2D icons for items and buffs/debuffs;
    3.3 3D models for buffs/debuffs;
    3.4 VFX for buffs/debuffs;
    3.5 SFX for buffs/debuffs;


    4. General

    4.1. /Unstuck command now can be used when exiting battle (after 15sec).
    4.2. FOV now can be set up in range from 90 to 110
    4.3. Hot bar slot number is increased to 14;
    4.4. inside slots you can now see buttons and and combinations for slot’s activation (Control can’t be set up atm).
    4.5. When hit the target, the aim sign turns green for 500ms, if missing the target - it turns red for 50ms.


    5. Balance

    5.1.Crusader: Physical Attack, Physical Defense and Magical defense are reduced to 50.
    5.2. Assassin: Range of all assassin’s daggers was increased to 1.25.m, hit radius was increased to 10sm.
    5.3. Hunter: Speed of Crossbow missiles was increased (x2);
    5.4. Inquisitor: fire arrows shooting distance is now 30m. The speed of the missile is increased (x2);
    5.5. All vacations:
    5.5.1. Energy use upon jumping was increased (x2);
    5.5.2. Characters come alive with full HP and MP;
    5.5.3. Passive HP and MP regeneration was decreased to 1% per second (because we’ve added active recovery to the game);


    6. Fixes:

    6.1. Fixed error with crusader’s creation;
    6.2. Fixed bug with doors;
    6.3. You can now claim castles as supposed;
    6.4. Claim of the castle is possible only after first death;
    6.5. Fixed bug with crusader’s help stats;
    6.6. Fixed cooldown slot display
    6.7. Fixed bug with cursor when holding ALT button;
    6.8. Fixed 3d palm animation;
    6.9. Fixed low FPS bug when showing “HP and MP recovery” effect;
    6.10. Fixed crossbow animation
    6.11. Fixed bug with crossbow when using Armlet of Obedience.
    6.12. Fixed idle hand animation
    6.13. Fixed crossbow missile display bug in 3rd person;
    6.14. Fixed bug with crossbow when you switch to the sword (crossbow becomes invisible);
    6.15. Fixed bug when player returned to the respawn point upon falling to the ground.
    6.16. From now on you can’t use spells if cooldown is taking effect;
    6.17. Fixed bug when small cleanse powder removed random effect;
    6.18. Player can refresh buffs when buff bar is filled;
    6.19. You can refresh other player’s buffs if he has 6 buffs on (or less);
    6.20. Crusader’s blink ability now shows land point;
    6.21. Fixed bug when some abilities didn’t show description;
    6.22. Fixed bug when some ability effects were shown if after player’s death;
    6.23. Fixed error with quick item switch;
    6.24. HP and MP recovery now shown in battle log;
    6.25. From now on, cursor cannot be colored in green if you hit the wall;
    6.26. Fixed error with slowdown effect when having 7 active buffs.


    7. Fixes in progress

    7.1. Incorrect description for labrys and daggers
    7.2. Camera shakes upon rolls
    7.3. Crossbow equip after death leads to re-log;
    7.4. AOE applies through doors;
    7.5 When exiting game in castle and re-log, players might find themself in outskirts without experience gained.
    7.6 Sometimes crossbow’s missile doesn’t do damage.


    8. Website change

    8.1. Registration for closed alpha button was added with subscription to newsletter option.
    8.2. Rating page loads faster;
    8.3. We’ve added some more info to “about the game” page;
    8.4. We’ve added special devblog page;
    8.5. Auto giveaway function was added for prototype testing
